AUGUST CLASS Descriptions
| CLASS DESCRIPTIONS Please arrive early for your scheduled class to get any necessary materials needed as the class will start promptly at the start time. PLEASE SEE CLASS POLICIES!!!! WRIST WRAP BRACELET August 3 - 6-8 pm $15.00 plus materials Lauri Riggs This beaded leather bracelet is a big hit on the Hollywood scene. Students will work with leather and waxed linen. Choose either czech glass or semi precious beads to be your star. Snatch one one up without paying the premium price. BASIC BEADING August 13 - 6-8 pm $20.00 plus beads Kim Ewing Student will learn the process of starting and finishing a bracelet with the proper tools, professionally. Covers use of tools, process and some design. $20 includes beading wire, crimps, covers, wire protectors, clasp and jump rings. Student will be required to purchase beads to put on bracelet. Pre-registration and payment is necessary BASIC WIRE WORKS August 14 - 11:30-1:30 pm $15.00 plus materials Kim Ewing THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS August 18 - 6-8 pm $20.00 plus materials Ranae Atchison Come join us for a fun filled evening to create one of a kind pendant. You will learn the art of layering objects to achieve a 3D look. A variety of papers will be here to choose from,, students are invited to bring small objects from home to use. Watch parts will be available for purchase. VIKING KNIT PART ONE AND TWO August 21 - 1-3 pm August 28 - 1-4pm $30.00 plus materials Carol Julien This is a two day class. Students will learn a century old looping technique, and you won't even have to wear a horned helmet! The first Saturday (1-3) you will master the "knit" then you will have a week to keep weaving on your own. The following Saturday (1-4) you will learn what to do and not to do to properly finish off and make a stunning necklace or a couple of bracelets. End caps will be available for purchasse on week two of the class. SATURN'S STAR RING August 24 - 6-8 pm $15.00 plus materials Lauri Riggs I llive to mix metals in designs, copper and sterling disks will be used in this project. Students will learn to dome, texture, stamp and finish it off with a cold connection. LOOP - D - LINKS BANGLE August 27 - 6-8 pm $15.00 plus materials Kim Ewing This whimsical bracelet has the look of a bangle, but has a built in clasp. Students will work with sterling silver wire, and a plethora of beads to create a fun bracelet. There will be more than one outfit in your clost that you'll want to wear this with. FESTIVAL NECKLACE August 31 - 6-8 pm $15 plus materials Lauri Riggs Whether you choose one color or the multi colored beads used in this necklace, there will be more than one way to wear it. In class students will learn how to create the clasp with beads, then build the length. Use it as a single strand or make it longer to double or triple it up. |
