Students will learn to make a fashionable bangle out of round sterling silver wire. We use hammers and stamps to texturize. Tools will be available for use while in class. ADULTS ONLY - LIMIT 6 BASIC BEADING September 10 - 6-8 pm $20.00 plus beads Kim Ewing Student will learn the process of starting and finishing a bracelet with the proper tools, professionally. Covers use of tools, process and some design. $20 includes beading wire, crimps, covers, wire protectors, clasp and jump rings. Student will be required to purchase beads to put on bracelet. Pre-registration and payment is necessary BASIC FUSING September 11 - 1-4 pm $15.00 plus materials Carol Julien Just the basics, students will work with different guages of fine silver, to learn what it takes to fuse each size. Simple circles will be made to imcorporate into a few different shapes that you can use in a variety of projects. Students are to bring a butane torch and fuel. ADULTS ONLY GYPSY'S NECKLACE September 15 - 6-8pm $15.00 plus materials Ranae Atchison Plenty to learn, without getting overwhelmed. Copper. Students will learn to cut and texture copper sheet into disks to use in this stylish necklace. Once you sign up for the class, you'll be asked to come in and cut all your disks out using a disk cutter. Disk cutting needs to be completed prior to class. OH! WHAT FUN IT IS BRACELET September 21 - 6-8 pm $15.00 plus materials Lauri Riggs I've taken the stitch from the festival necklace a step further, and added a new step to learn. Once mastered you'll be surprised at how quickly each link works up. Before you know it you'll have a cute slip on bracelet to wear. PREREQUISITE Festival Necklace. Students will pick up this new step quicker knowing the basic stitch first. CAPTURED COILS COPPER BRACELET September 21 - 6-8pm $15.00 plus materials Kim Ewing Students will learn to cage lampwork beads in copper, then attach them with corkscrew links. You'll finish off this hip bracelet with a unique clasp, taught here for the first time. CHARMED (Art Clay Silver Charms) September 25 - 1-4pm $75.00 plus clay cost Ranae Atchison Students need not bring anything but imagination to the class. You'll be working with precious metal clay silver, to make one of a kind charms. Choose to use your finished pieces to create a unique charm bracelet or incorporate them into a fun necklace. PEARL AMORE September 28 - 6-8 pm $15.00 plus materials Lauri Riggs Assorted seed beads, Swarovski crystals and pearls. What more could a girl want? Students will weave this wonderful bracelet using a plethora of beads. This bracelet is very versatile, a day at the office or a night on the town. |
